Lainey Wilson Awarded 2025 ACM Artist-Songwriter Of The Year By Reba McEntire And Miranda Lambert

On Wednesday (May 7), Lainey Wilson found out that she had been named the 2025 ACM Awards’ Artist-Songwriter of the Year, surprisingly receiving the honor from fellow country music stars Miranda Lambert and Reba McEntire a day before the big ceremony. The trio are set to debut their new collaborative single, “Trailblazer,” at the awards show. Wilson won the award over impressive competition, including music superstars like Morgan Wallen, Luke Combs, HARDY, and ERNEST, with the award celebrating artists who have disinguished themselves as leading songsmiths and entertainers. Wilson expressed her appreciation for the prestigious accolade by commenting on the ACM Awards post, “This is such an honor, thank you ❤️.” Wilson also won ACM Entertainer of the Year in Thursday night’s (May 8) ceremony, an award that the country music superstar won at last year’s ACM Awards.
