With schools being closed until April 15th, and perhaps longer, there are area businesses helping out by offering free food to school aged children. Some children get most of their daily nutrition from school breakfast and lunch, and these places are stepping up during the COVID-19 crisis. Address: 8190 W. Fairfield Drive in Pensacola
Address: 2030 N. 12th Ave.
Deal: East Hill Pizza will provide free lunches to all kids age 13 and under starting Monday between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. each day.
Address: 5454 Pensacola Blvd. in Pensacola
Deal: Starting Monday, kids eat free between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Lunches will include soft or hard tacos with cheese, rice and beans.
Address: 6224 N. Ninth Ave.
Deal: Starting Monday and spanning until March 27, this Pensacola Caribbean restaurant will provide free lunches between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. to Escambia County students.
Address: 6890 Pensacola Blvd. in Pensacola
Deal: Kids age 12 and under can have their pick at the 3-D kids menu during lunch hours starting Monday.
