Lynn West

Email: lynn@wxbm.com

Hi, I'm Lynn West and thanks for listening from 10a to 2p. I am a product of the U.S. Navy. Both of my parents were in the Navy, so being a military brat, I traveled a lot. I was born in Japan, believe it or not, and moved a lot. Pensacola, Alaska, Rhode Island, Pensacola (again), Knoxville, Chicago, Nashville, Bakersfield, Daytona Beach, and back to Pensacola. Whew, I'm tired already.

Okay, they want me to tell you a little about myself, so here goes. I've been at WXBM since March 1995 and I don't have a lot of spare time because caring for 18 animals takes most of it. Dogs, birds, cats, ferrets and some things you probably never heard of fill the hours. I'm also a part of "Dolphin Rescue" … took care of two dolphins that washed up on shore a couple of years ago. That was a pretty neat experience. I guess you figured out that I love animals. I also enjoy reading and football … Go Dallas … and my television addiction includes "All My Children". I also like "Frazier", "The Larry Sanders Show" and "Arliss". If you are a slow driver, please stay off Scenic Highway when I'm late for work! And if you mistreat children and animals or are untrustworthy, just stay away. I most admire my Mother and people who have the courage to stand up and speak up for their beliefs. There you have it, Lynn West in a couple of paragraphs. More than you probably wanted to know, but I would love to hear from you.
